This group is dedicated to working with African women for the purpose of strengthening and supporting single mothers and orphans in the East Africa region. They also work to share and educate local communities in Canada on the rich traditions and wisdom of East African music, food, craft, and communal activities.

The history of First Nations, Inuit and Métis is essentially the very history of Canada as they have played and continue to play important roles in its development and its future.

The Netherlands, “Netherlands” means low-lying country; the name Holland (from Houtland, or “Wooded Land”) was originally given to one of the medieval cores of what later became the modern state and is still used for 2 of its 12 provinces (Noord-Holland and Zuid-Holland). The country is indeed low-lying and remarkably flat, with large expanses of lakes, rivers, and canals.

Niger, officially Republic of Niger, French République du Niger, is a landlocked western African country. The country takes its name from the Niger River, which flows through the southwestern part of its territory.
