Surrey, BC – The City of Surrey has released the schedule for the 15th annual Surrey Fusion Festival. Presented by Coast Capital, the free event is held on Saturday, July 23 and Sunday, July 24 at Holland Park from 11:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. On Saturday, the Concord Pacific World Music Stage will feature performances by Surrey’s MANILA GREY at 9:00 p.m. and Shad at 7:15 p.m. On Sunday, the stage will feature Punjabi superstar Sharry Mann at 8:30 p.m. and Zora Randhawa at 7:00 p.m.
Surrey Fusion Festival’s new KPU Community Dance Stage will feature dance battles and cultural dance lessons from 12:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. both days. The SFU Celebration Stage schedule has been extended on Saturday to offer a set by DJ Goddess at 8:35 p.m. The new Siam Stage in the Indigenous Village will showcase performances by Nadjiwan at 8:30 p.m. on July 23, and by Curtis Clearsky and the Constellationz at 8:00 p.m. on July 24. Cultural pavilion groups and local musicians will perform on the Unity Stage from 1:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. both days.

Surrey Fusion Festival will also feature a Wellness Garden where attendees can recharge and participate in yoga and meditation. Saturday will feature a cooking competition between Surrey youth from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the Cultural Cooking Arena. On Sunday, the arena will feature cooking demonstrations from local professional chefs. The Family Fun Stage will feature children’s performers, workshops and a drum circle. The Dished Global Beer & Wine Tasting tent will also showcase local performers from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. both days.
Surrey Fusion Festival will meet health and safety guidelines as set out by the Provincial Health Officer, Worksafe BC, Fraser Health and appropriate industry associations. Visit surreyfusionfestival.ca for more information.
