The History of Gunpowder is a high energy, orchestral rock, freak-out ensemble based in Vancouver that puts on theatrical, gritty, and unforgettable live shows. The History seamlessly blends expansive arrangements, growling blues vocals, and danceable funk rhythms into an electric sonic experience. They have garnered critical and popular acclaim as one of the best touring live acts in Canada that boasts an explosive sound somewhere between Tom Waits, Nick Cave, and Radiohead. The History seems to be unwaveringly barreling upwards with the fall 2023 release of their feature-length film/video album - Swallows, their third European tour, and the much anticipated release of their upcoming album, The Epileptic Vol II. 

V3 is a group comprised of primarily young Vietnamese individuals whose primary purpose is to retain and promote Vietnamese culture. V3 was formed in the fall of 2006, and since then, they have been actively involved in community events. V3 started out as a small group and soon after expanded to include individuals from different ethnicities who shared the same vision, goal, and passion. 

The group is well recognized by the Lower Mainland community. Activities carried out by the group have made positive changes through collaborations with other ethno-cultural organizations, broad community-based and government agencies. Today, V3 is comprised of more than 50 members between the ages of 10-40, and is supported by parents and various organizations.

For countless generations First Nations dance played an integral part in defining art and culture. Their share stories behind their songs and dances that go back to time in memorial. Dancing and singing are small aspects of their culture. Each part of their regalia has a history and a story of rights of passage passed down from one generation to the next. 

Yunik Dance is a K-pop dance studio based in Vancouver and Burnaby. They offer various K-pop dance programs for anyone ages 6 and up! Anyone passionate about K-pop can join their classes regardless of age!

Brazilian Swag Dance Group is a cultural group, their performance brings culture from the time Brazil was still a colony up to the latest trendy rhythms along with Capoeira performances from Abalae Capoeira.

Xingyu Elegant Dancing Group is a non-for-profit group and was founded on November 10, 2017. There are 15 people and age range is from 40s to 70s. All members are from North Surrey.

They focus on Chinese dancing and perform an elegant dancing in lots of local Festivals.

CocoLarosa is a Surrey based folk singer/songwriter specializing in rhythmically bombastic and lyrically driven storytelling.
His music explores themes of nostalgia, desperation, and sass, always speaking directly from the heart of his life experiences.
In 2023 his song 'Shoulders of Giants' was voted #1 in the Folk Singer/Songwriter category of the Reddit Grammy Awards (June of 2023).

Known for his passionate performances and high caliber lyricism, Coco's authentic narratives stir up emotion and resonate with people in all walks of life. 

The UppaTones is a folk harmony trio whose cozy sound and dreamy harmonies evoke a hint of nostalgia while giving a fresh, modern take on vocal performance. They perform (mostly) a cappella, often accompanied by a rhythm of stomps and snaps, giving an intimate performance that showcases the depth of their vocals, the weave of melody and harmony, and the joy of music-making. The trio carefully crafts originals and refines covers over countless cups of jasmine tea, finding the most delicious harmonies while drawing inspiration from lived experiences and the magic of nature.

Matt Hermano is an accomplished artist based in British Columbia, born in Vancouver and raised in Surrey. With a musical journey that commenced at the age of 14, he mastered the guitar, honed his vocal skills starting at 17, and began crafting songs at the age of 16. A dedicated performer, Matt frequents open mic events in the Vancouver area and ensures to showcase his talents at local open mics when traveling across Canada.
 

Emmett Martin Hatlelid’s work takes value from the past, and brings it to the present. His style as a Jazz vocalist hearkens to the sound of Bing Crosby, Al Bowlly, and Frank Sinatra. 

Emmett’s music evokes the spirit of a time when music was restorative, when people walked home humming the tunes they’d just heard and danced to, and those notes carried them through tough times.

He takes pleasure in the pop-culture of old, setting music to the words of Emily Dickinson, and watching musicals from their golden age, such as the works of Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers. He hopes to share some of that magic with contemporary audiences, performing mostly in the Vancouver and lower mainland area.

Everyone loves the beauty and magic of giant soap bubbles! The Bubble Fairy has been delighting audiences with her bubble performances since 2021 for clients such as Sun Peaks Resort, The City of North Vancouver, The City of Richmond, The City of Delta, The City of Port Coquitlam and countless private events and festivals. Featuring many different sized bubbles from big to giant in various formats, the Bubble Fairy is sure to delight both the young and the young at heart! 

The Wookiez are a Canadian Beatbox Champion duo that hail from Vancouver, BC. They consist of beatbox artists CiMaX and Vino. Both initially met through a small group of beatboxers that is now a collective called the WCG (West Coast Groove). Their beatbox performance style is mainly influenced from hip-hop and electronic roots while also challenging and expanding their soundset across many experimental genres. 

The Wookiez continue to redefine modern beatboxing throughout the city and have performed at various events across the lower mainland and Canada such as the Chilliwack Mural Festival, Party for the Planet, Music Heals Foundation at the Commodore Ballroom, and more.

From the largest theatres to the tiniest zoom screens, since 2008 Travis's shows have been winning awards and critical acclaim across Canada. Known for his joyous wit and deft sleight-of-hand, he also creates magic for other magicians (some of which has appeared on America’s Got Talent), and was a magic producer on YTV's Tricked.

Matt Levy is a York University trained actor, juggler, spoken word artist, dancer, clown, comic and variety performer. Matt incorporates juggling, (clubs, bowling balls, fire, axes), tight rope, incredible feats of balance, plate spinning, rola bola, ballooning, and magic into a fun filled, interactive, high impact show. With over 22 years of cirque-style stand-up comedy and juggling experience all over Canada, he loves to entertain. Presented here by Living Magic Entertainment, Vancouver's premier children's entertainment company. 

ROOTS is a Peruvian folklore dance ensemble dedicated to preserving and celebrating the rich traditions of Peru through captivating performances and cultural exchange within the communities of British Columbia.

Under the direction of Jessica Roca Muncaster and rooted in Peru's diverse cultural tapestry, Roots dance group showcases the captivating beauty and rhythmic expressions of traditional Peruvian folklore. Drawing inspiration from indigenous, European, and African influences, they pay homage to the vibrant history and cultural heritage of their beloved nation.
