Nicky Beatz, a DJ hailing from the South Surrey/White Rock area, was driven to embark on his DJing journey by his lifelong love for music and forming interpersonal connections.

Influenced by the diverse environment he grew up in, his dynamic and eclectic style has led him to explore a multitude of genres, ranging from hip hop and R&B to house, afrobeats, international dance music, desi fusion, and beyond.

Known for being able to rock every party he walks into, Nicky Beatz takes pride in his passion for bridging the gap between the audience and the music. His passion for fostering communities extends through his collaborative efforts with multiple artist collectives such as Play By Play, The Kuyas, and Aux Cord Kids.

Higher Ground Dance Company is in its 5th year and season and is based out of Vancouver. Founded and created by Natasha Gorrie, Higher Ground’s program is unlike any other street dance company in the lower mainland. Focusing on personal growth to help you level up, build your own voice and identity, and build knowledge of history with a true understanding of the culture of street dances.

Training in fundamentals of various street dances but focusing on Hip Hop styles, Breaking, Popping & locking.

On December 22nd, 2009, SEACHS registered with the BC Registry to become an official non-profit organization.
SEACHS engages in training and educating Canadians about Southeast Asian cultures. It seeks to encourage young people, in particular, to become involved in the preservation and promotion of various forms of Southeast Asian culture. Through these activities, it hopes to create a forum where people can engage in activities that promote Southeast Asian cultural heritage. This cultivates wellness within local Southeast Asian-Canadian communities and the wider public, enriching the diversity of Canadian society.

For almost 30 years, the Surrey International Folk Dancers have been welcoming people of all ages to enjoy dancing together. They teach, learn and share folk dances set to ethnic music from around the world in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

Xingyu Elegant Dancing Group is a non-for-profit group and was founded on November 10, 2017. There are 15 people and age range is from 40s to 70s. All members are from North Surrey.

They focus on Chinese dancing and perform an elegant dancing in lots of local Festivals.
